With the beginning of a full-scale war in Ukraine, many of our compatriots crossed the borders with neighboring European countries in search of salvation from missile strikes. Since March 2022, caring Ukrainians in Krakow have set up a space for a volunteer headquarters-warehouse, where they were engaged in repackaging and assembling necessary items: from diapers to ambulances.<\/p>\n

Unfortunately, the war continues. Many people need help. Therefore, we decided to expand the range of good deeds by creating a Ukrainian space in the very center of Krakow. We began a full-scale renovation of the abandoned location and within a month, with our own efforts and funds, renovated 200 sq m of the premises. We turned to UNICEF, Castorama, IKEA and other corporations for help. However, in vain. Only IT corporations responded and helped us with furniture. As time has shown, we accomplished the impossible – we built an educational creative space ourselves. The opening was attended by hundreds of grateful people, the press, and the Ukrainian consul. The atmosphere began to function. The number of students and teachers increased, and the comfort of the premises improved.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

Our revived school-studio \u00abKingdom\u00bb has two areas of work – elementary school (grades 1-8) and creative studios for children aged 1.5 years and older and adults. Our foundation is a modern system of bilingual education and the best leading methods of Ukraine, Poland and Great Britain. We harmoniously combined the Cambridge International program with the Ukrainian program of the New Ukrainian School. Our goal is the successful socialization and education of children and adults in an intercultural European environment. The institution’s philosophy is based on a democratic approach and child-centeredness.<\/p>\n

The \u00abKingdom\u00bb team is dynamically developing, has ambitious plans for the future and is looking for friends and support. In order to foster a culture of international relations, successful European integration of Ukrainians and further effective functioning, the school-studio needs assistance in the following areas:
\n– Easels for art classes;
\n– Laptops and equipment for the language classroom for computer science classes and language learning;
\n– Arduino kits and software for Arduino robotics courses;
\n– Board games for the game room;
\n– Interactive multi-displays and projectors.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/section>
